We've been so busy that it's taken me a while to get to this update. We are in the process of adjusting yet again. We learned a couple of days ago that our Au Pair, Jessica, was accepted to medical school in Sweden, so she will be leaving us in January. We are not happy about the situation, but it's not one we were able to control as we were not made aware of her having even applied to medical school. At any rate, through no fault of our own, we're in a transition period yet again.
We have to start the search process all over, so it will take a few weeks to get things nailed down and sort out when our new Au Pair will be arriving. It will likely be sometime in February.
We will be spending the holidays in Hawaii. We had hoped to spend the time relaxing and bringing an end to a very very stressful year, but we'll have to settle for a little break and coming back to face childcare issues in the new year again. With a lot of prayer and a little luck, things will hopefully work out for the best for our family.
