Nathan's 2nd Birthday

I thought I would post some photos of Nathan's second birthday too. While we didn't intend for it to be "truck" themed, it actually turned out well. I looked for a pre-made cake that was boyish, but short of Batman or Superman, trucks was all I could come up with. As it turned out I guess we were all on the same page because everyone who gave Nathan a birthday gift, gave him something truck related. Kind of interesting how things work out completely unplanned.

Nathan definately got the "Birthday" idea this year. I guess its because this is the 3rd birthday we celebrated in the month of October!! So he was pretty much up on the "Happy Birthday" song and the cake and balloons.



Ok, so the drill is battery operated...once Nathan was finished working on his new truck, Gillian decided to give the drill a try, she had something else in mind....forget about that silly truck, she knew exactly where that drill belonged.



This was the cutest thing, you can't tell by the picture but the drill was turning and she just loved the movement and interesting texture in her mouth.
